Well, results from the dietbook. Spectacular. Starting at 207lbs I adopted the 800 calories a day Blood Sugar Diet and have watched the weight fall off over the last month. Another 14lbs have melted away. Which is one hell of a result but I still have a way to go, another 10lbs. This will be harder.
Staying on this diet has hardly been a hardship. You would imagine that so few calories would leave you hungry all the time. Not so. I have been eating mountains of vegetables, plenty of steak, fish, eggs etc. The recipes in the book were a good starting point. I have used loads of herbs and spices to give plenty of flavour, rather than my usual habit of adding lots of cream and cheese to everything.
