Every journey, they say, starts with a single step. I have already taken many steps and completed my first novel. It has been pushed out on the unsuspecting world. To a predictably deafening silence. So here I am taking a step I had hoped I would never have to take into the dark arts of marketing and social media. This is clearly the modern equivalent of wearing a sandwich board and shouting how good the product you are hawking is!
Modesty(?) forbids me from doing that so I shall instead attempt to entertain and beguile you with related stories, a little background to the book, some of the ideas that came together to create my first novel and my hopes for the second in the series that is taking shape even as I skirmish with social media. Who knows, a few of you may be curious enough to dip into the first chapter or two via Amazon!
